Prepping for camping weekend on Greers Ferry. Missing Haley. Thankful for friends old and new and my many blessings.

Geaux Tigers!» #1 Ranked LSU takes on #2 Alabama this week and I'm PUMPED! Fall is still going strong and we're already into holiday season. Haley wrapped up her cross-country team for the year, still rehearsing with the district honor choir, and rehearsing in the Ruston Community Theatre production of Kringle's Window showing December 1-4th.

My murder/mystery dinner play on October 22nd at church was great! I played a rich snobby descendent of Sherlock Holmes. We had about 120 people show up, my Dad took pictures, I acted/did lighting/did sound/dinner music. I was worn out but it was an awesome experience. I'm still teaching Senior High Sunday School, and I feel like I'm learning as much as the kids are. My elder training begins soon and I continue to serve on both the Worship and Technology committees, lead the Acolyte program, and helping with a redesign of the church website. God is good!
Check out my daily devotional in the church page.

My annual Halloween costume party was awesome! I DJ'd, did lights, drinks, etc. and the costumes were hilarious! We had bikers, a skunk, chic magnet, mammogram doctor, pirates, ghouls and lots more. What a blast! The cops came as usual for a noise complaint but no tickets or worries. Then on Halloween night I had 220+ trick-or-treaters brave enough to come to the door with a couple dozen running off screaming, too scared to approach!

Haley is turning 12 in a few days and I'm going down to Louisiana to DJ her first boy/girl dance party. So hard to swallow that my baby girl wants her Daddy to DJ her own birthday party. I can guarantee you the boys will be scared to dance with her while I'm there. It'll be fun though, I can't WAIT to dance with and embarrass her.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up and I'm making plans with John and Jane to spend some time together. I'll be in Ruston for New Years Eve again selling with John at Ford Family Fireworks!

I'm probably in the best physical shape of my life, running and working out 6 nights a week and feel awesome. I know it won't last forever but I'm loving it right now.

I finally scored some photo-editing software so I hope to start posting a bunch of New pictures over the next couple of weeks!

Running Stats This Week
»5 miles
Have to keep motivated and get some more in. Been running around my neighborhood late at night or early morning for a while. Started tracking the miles in late September 2007. Hopefully this will help keep me motivated to stay in shape!
