Prepping for camping weekend on Greers Ferry. Missing Haley. Thankful for friends old and new and my many blessings.

Ayeee!» Spring is in the air! Had a wonderful Christmas season with Haley and we are already ready for Spring! My job has been super hectic and stressful but should finally calm down soon. Haley tried out and made the 7th grade cheerleading squad at A.E.P. and I'm super duper proud! Haley also continues in the honor choir and is just the light of my life. She's 12 and going on 16!

Easter is upon us and my church has many activities going on. I can't wait till Maundy Thursday, one of the most spiritual services for me. I also get the privilege of playing guitar for the Easter Sunrise service with Haley at my side again.

I became an ordained elder at my church in January and I'm leading the Technology Ministry Team now. Think sound, video, lighting, website, office systems, etc. Gee, wonder if that's a good fit for me? :-) I'm very blessed to have a great group of folks on my team. I continue to enjoy teaching teaching Senior High Sunday School, and I feel like I'm learning as much as the kids are. I'm also still on the Worship Ministry Team and lead the acolyte program with the little kiddos. Love it! God is good! Check out my daily devotional in the church page.

I'm probably in the best physical shape of my life, running and working out 6 nights a week and feel awesome. I know it won't last forever but I'm loving it right now. I gave up alcohol and cursing for Lent which doesn't sound difficult except, I don't think I've had hotwings and french fries without beer in 20 years! Lol. But what a little sacrifice compared to what I've been given.

Running Stats This Week
»9.75 miles
Have to keep motivated and get some more in. Been running around my neighborhood late at night or early morning for a while. Started tracking the miles in late September 2007. Hopefully this will help keep me motivated to stay in shape!
