|  Some Favorite VersesThis is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. For, All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever. And this is the word that was preached to you. I consider myself still an infant Christian and have so much to learn and so far to go in becoming the servant Christ deserves in me.
