On a recent Saturday afternoon, Haley and I rolled out the Slip-N-Slide. Oops, the SUPER Slip-N-Slide. Click on each picture for a larger image. We ran around, laughed, played, dumped buckets of water on each other, sprayed each other with a water canon, batted a beach ball around, and in general had a great time! Of course, Haley was covered head to toe in sun block but her old man forgot about it for himself. So I ended up sunburnt for an entire week! Youch! We played a game where I would pull her on her back down the slide and she loved it! Then she'd chase me and we'd slide down it together, crashing in the "pool" at the end. We stopped a few times to drink plenty of water, but Haley seemed to figure out a different way to stay hydrated (see picture left). Until she spotted a tiny spider in the water. Doh! She hates spiders (I do too) and wouldn't get back on until I guaranteed her it was gone and that no more existed in the yard. In the end, Daddy started getting tired and it was time for lunch. Haley posed for me one last time before we headed in. She was out like a light when she got ready for a nap. Ahh, the good ol' summer days. Fun in the sun and water with your beautiful loving daughter. Does life get much better?
