Love: The Unfair Game Everybody knows life is unfair. Love is just another factor of life that is totally unfair. People get their hearts broke everyday. My favorite saying is “The hardest thing in life is to watch the person you love, love someone else!” I know what you are thinking right now…why is this person writing a depressing story!? Well here’s the catch, life’s to short to not tell the person you love that you love them! The people who get their hearts broken have one great advantage, they have told the person they love how they felt. Like everybody always says, “it’s better to love and lost then to never have loved at all!” I agree totally with this statement. If you go through life never telling the person you love how you feel, then what is the point in living? I know each and every person has a need to love and be loved so why not take a chance? What if that person you didn’t tell how you felt is the person you were always supposed to be with? What happens when that person feels the same way but the two of you never know b/c neither would come out and say something? I’m not saying each time you tell a person how you feel they will return the feeling. I think all of us know that by now, but can you honestly say that you haven’t learned anything from this experience. Personally, I have truly loved two guys in my life. From the first guy, I learned that all people are not nice and caring people. I learned that some people can be cruel and deceiving. From the second, I learned that nobody’s perfect. BUT, I would not change loving either of them for a second! If it’s a fight keeping the two of you apart or simply just your pride, suck it up!! In a year will that fight really mean anything?! In a year could you even imagine yourself w/o the other person? Although love is an unfair game, everybody wants to play so take a chance or else one day you may regret not!!!
