Most Totally Awesome Gifts Was just doing some electrical work in the kitchen and thought... man I've been given some really cool gifts over the years. These are my favorites
1. Charcoal grill for Father's Day last year... man.. that thing is awesome! The old ashes drop down into a metal container that I dump in the trash when I'm through. Use it all the time!
2. Shower Squeegee (sp?). Some of you know I'm a little OCD about some things. I was given an extra wide shower squeegee to get all the water off the sliding shower doors, seats, and floor. Conway has really hard water and the water stains my shower pink.
3. 300 count sheets. I was given some nice sheets a couple years ago to replace the old nasty green ones I'd used for 10 years. At first I thought, "ehh.. .great, sheets.". But they are SO soft. I love 'em.
4. Tools: Ratcheting screwdriver, multi-speed cordless drill, miter saw, and magnified telescoping light. Man... cool tools are the way to a man's heart (other than food and sex). I use the drill and telescoping light all the time. I finally used the ratcheting screwdriver today.
5. Red big ass cowbell. My Dad got me the cowbell for Christmas '88. I LOVE it and still use it every gig. Everyone knows.. It Needs More Cowbell!
A huge thanks goes out to the people who took the time, thought, and love to get me those things.
Oh... so what's a gift I could've done without? Hmm... my brother gave me a huge cheap plastic birdfeeder for my yard when I was 19. And Dad... .hey... sorry I never used the velcro cinch waist shower towel you got me when I was 15... or the argyle socks... I'll admit.. .I threw them away an hour after Christmas morning. Sorry!
