Music Weekend Rawwked Had a great weekend of music. Saw Sharpe Dunaway and the Blue Meanies at West End in LR Friday night. It's just amazing how incredibly awesome a bunch of goofball buddies from Conway sound on stage. High energy, incredible guitars, vocals and hot drums licks. Everything from Bon Jovi and Poison to Kiss, Def Leppard, and Guns N Roses. If you dig 80's rock... go check 'em out. You can search my myspace friends list for them or click the picture above.
Saturday night I saw Rascal Flatts at Alltel. Kelly Pickler opened... and ehh...she was okay. Hot body... but she's just not as polished yet. Vocals were pretty weak and the band was boring. But hey... opening act and I'd actually knew a couple of her songs. Rascal Flatts took the stage and I was expecting basically a chic's type concert. But it was awesome! Sound, lighting, and special effects were killer. Vocals were AMAZING. I'd heard the lead singer sucked live (big time user of pro tools on records)... but it was awesome. Course, he coulda had a backing track. Lots of artists do. I was standing the whole time and sung every song... dancing, singing... having a great time. Saw some super hot chic totally bust her rear and spill two beers on her boobs trying to manage the steps beside me whilst super el drunko. That's always a bonus for me.
