New Glove Picked up a new softball and batting gloves for Haley Beth. We tried working on her catching skillz this weekend with her glove from 2 years ago and it's WAAAY too small now. Moved up to an 11" which "isn't a little girl glove... Daddy". Going to rub some oil on the glove, put a ball inside, wrap a rubberband around it, and put it between my mattress for 2 weeks till she gets here again. She got hit in the face last year during practice by her coach, so she's a little hesitant to catch the ball these days. Man, I understand... I took a few to the head in Ruston's Dixie League myself. But Fords always press on. We're working on using both hands to catch, getting in front of the ball, not being afraid. She's my little superstar. Can't wait to throw the ball around with her!!!
